(High Def)  This is a 5 part study on Christian principles, and becoming a successful Usable worker for Christ.

In warfare, it is important to know your enemy, and in knowing him, know the secret in defeating him!  General George Patton, as he defeated his German arch enemy in Africa in WW2, stated, “Rommel, I READ YOUR BOOK!!”  Have we read satans play book? Do we know how to defeat his attacks?

This next two weeks, we will take an in depth look at our enemy- The devil and his angels. We will look at his attributes, his limitations, and how we as Christians get thrown around by-the-tail by this spirit being…..and what we should do to stop him.

Pray that satan will be defeated in his attacks on this study.

We know, that many couples do not have the opportunity to fellowship with other marrieds in church, due to their obligations.. so we have outings every month.  This month, on Friday September 17  we will depart “caravan” style to BRANSON , MO.

Because many are departing earlier in the week, and later that evening, Vickie and I will caravan down to Branson around noon on Friday. Any married couple is welcome to drive their vehicles down with us.

Once we arrive in Branson, we will overnight in a motel/B&B of your choice, then eat dinner and possibly take in a show. Contact Vickie or AJ if you need a hotel suggestion. Motels range from 47.00 to 70.00.  (Suggested Motels are the Foxbourough, and the Best Western, Branson West.)

Once we arrive, we will be seeing one, possibly two shows,  The Sheppard of the Hills outdoor theater, or YAKOV comedy show. On Friday or Sat as an option, weather permitting, we can take a free cruise on Lake Table Rock, on a 50 foot cruiser. The boat will be available for us anytime.

This weekend event is designed to maximize your “together time” and the event schedule is flexible. Please plan now to ride down with us, and spend a nice weekend with your spouse. 

Keep watch for other monthly events, if you missed our “game night” last month, you won’t want to miss another!

Date: September 22-25
Where: Hanson Hills Campground
Cost: Depending on how many nights you want to stay and the type of lodging you want to have (ex:  tent camping, rv site with full hookup or day visitor)
Meals:  You will be on your own for meals since we will not have access to a large kitchen.
Amenities:  Heated Pool (open!), hot tub, fishing, playground, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, air-conditioned rec room w/ pool tables, card tables, ping pong and satellite tv.  A convenience store and cafe’ is also on site with affordable food prices.
Schedule:  We do not have the schedule fully completed, but we plan to have some organized tournaments in the evenings, nightly devotions around the campfire, a family night of worship, some planned activities on Saturday and Sunday morning worship will also be held here!

In the past, TLC has paid for much of the Family Camp experience.  Since we are working hard to meet our building fund goals, The Keepers and Pastor Jason felt it was best to plan Family Camp this way.  If you are unable to camp overnight with us, we pray you will still plan to join us for a few very memorable evenings and for Sunday morning, of course!!  Questions:  Please don’t hesitate to contact us through the site or see Pastor Jason or Marcia.

On June 4th, food and animal supplies were delivered and it was such a blessing in places of need. The young people who went that day volunteered time to work at SERVE food pantry that morning. It’s quite the operation they have going when distributing food on pick up day. Together as a church family, we donated 123lbs of food in honor of TLC. After that morning, a visit to the Callaway Hills animal shelter was in order. This is a wonderful place that has made a home for many unwanted older animals. Although they were unable to help out at this time, the employee took us on a tour and told us about the shelter. Last but not least, the loose change that was donated totalled $66.00 ($20.00 in pennies alone!). A decision was made to give the money to the program Simone spoke about last year. It’s to help fill backpacks with school supplies for needy children in the fall. We couldn’t have shared the blessings without all you’ve done and for that we send a big, big thanks!
