Visitor Information

Hello!  We’re so glad to have you visiting our site and possibly our church!  Our desire is that this page will give you a small insight of what we hope you’ll experience if you come visit with us.

First, you’re among friends, so relax and get ready to enjoy the day!  There is coffee and hot chocolate inside the cafeteria if you’d like to grab a cup.  You’ll find some people in there who will be more than glad to show you around or answer any questions.  You’re our guest for the day and we want you to be welcomed!

In our church, you’ll find:

–Bible based messages relating to day-to-day life
–a casual atmosphere
–contempary music with a live band
–friendly people who’d love to say hello
–a wonderful nursery for children under four
–activity bags to entertain your your child during the service
–once a month Sunday morning food and socializing time
–activities throughout the year such as Family Camp, Easter Breakfast, Sunday Picnics and more.

Whether this is your first time going to church or if you’re looking for a new church, everyone is welcome to join us!

We have found friendship and we constantly grow together as a church family.  In The Lighthouse Church, people come from all walks of life, but are bound together by God’s most wonderful love.   We are sinners, rescued only by the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We are not perfect, not even close.  We desire to serve our family, friends, community, world and most of all our Lord.

We’ve added some basic questions below, but if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

Where is the church located?
As of June 6th, until further notice, church services will be conducted at the Callaway County YMCA in Fulton.  Detailed directions can be found HERE.  I tried Google Maps and it wasn’t located correctly.

Physical Address & Contact Number:
YMCA of Callaway County
1715 Wood Street
Fulton, MO 65251
PH: 573-220-8867

What is a typical service like?
The service begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes (give or take a few minutes). We usually start off with contemporary worship music followed by a time of praise & prayers. After that, Pastor Jason usually gives his sermon which is biblical based. Last but not least, a closing prayer. The first Sunday of the month is Communion and it’s open to everyone.

Can my children sit with me during the service?
Absolutely! In fact, if your children are in the ages of 5-11, you can have them pick up a Lighthouse Bible Club bag from the announcement table in the back. Inside are crayons, Bible puzzle pages and a coloring book to use during the service. If you’re interested, we do have childcare available for children not yet in Kindergarten, in the room past the cafeteria.

What should I wear?
Dress comfortably…whether that be semi-casual, formal Sunday wear, jeans and a t-shirt….wear what you’d like, but just be comfortable and come!

What is The Lightstation?
The Lightstation is a secondary building for our activities throughout the week. Since we’re not in a building all of own (yet… God willing – the land has been purchased!), we needed an alternate place to meet. The Lightstation is located at the corner of 54 and Old US 40 across the street from Nostalgiaville and next door to the Kingdom City Post Office.  Signage is on the door.

What about the Offering?
If you would like to tithe or give an offering, you are able to do so in private.  We don’t pass around a collection plate.  There is a Lighthouse near the entrance to the gymnasium.  Place your offering (if you feel led) in there.  What you give is between you and the Lord.

Who is the Pastor?
Our church is led by Pastor Jason Jordon. Joining him in ministry is his wife, Marcia, and their three boys.
